I will go through my artistic and professional experiences, following my vast experience as a pianist, starting from the long-gone 90’s, when I graduated from the Conservatory of Saint Cecilia in Piano and Chamber Music.
Although someone said “Perfection doesn’t exist, you can always do better and grow”, I perfected my piano skills with Maestro Konstantin Bogino, and in chamber music with the trio Tchaikovsky.
By a fluke, I later entered the International Opera House of Rome as Assistant to the Director of the Opera Studio and subsequently as a collaborating Master.
After this experience, which lasted three years, I expanded my artistic and professional skills by dedicating myself to the design and production of the Docu-Films “Mozart’s Letters to the Cousin” and “Grieg’s Journey in Italy“, of the “Don Giovanni” plays with Walter Maestosi and the singers of the Rome Opera House, “Carmen” with Simona Marchini, “Don Chichotte” with Roberto Herlitzka and Roberto della Casa, “L’Histoire du Soldat” with Rocco Papaleo, Anbeta Toromani and Patrick Rossi Gastaldi, the Orchestra of the Rome Opera, “Alma Mahler” with Ennio Coltorti and Daniela Giordano, “Perbacco. Wine at Work” with the singers of the Opera House, “Einstein and Stradivari’s Secret” with Massimo Popolizio, “The War of Troy Will Not Be Done” in collaboration with Doctors Without Borders, with Roberto Herlitzka, Rocco Papaleo, Daniele Formica, Flavio Bucci, and the extraordinary participation of Alex Britti, “Piazzolla/Borges Among Mazes and Mirrors” with Roberto Herlitzka.
In all the experiences listed above, the TRIO was always present, or rather the protagonist!
Another important thing is that I met the violinist, whose resume is available in this same section of the site, at the Conservatory 25 years ago and since then we have not been separated. Another fluke? Well, I’d say so…
But without further delay, we should continue my musical circumnavigation quoting the musical group Colosseum Chamber Orchestra, of which I have been a member since 2010 and with whom I pursue the musical project “Cantata Italiana”, landing then at the free project of my Trio to Vasco Rossi, for the violinist’s passion for the singer from Zocca!
To homage him, we created the project “Vasco in classico”.
